Spencerhill is excited to welcome Renee Runge as our newest team member. A South Florida native turned Boston transplant (despite her dislike of the cold), Renee brings a strong academic and industry background to the agency. She holds a B.A. in English from the University of Florida and earned both an M.A. in Children’s Literature and an M.F.A. in Writing for Children from Simmons University. Her previous experience at Red Fox Literary, Spencerhill, and The Horn Book brings a strong background in children’s publishing to the team. At the University of Florida, she also served as President of the Alpha Phi Omega chapter, a gender-inclusive service fraternity, and is especially passionate about supporting diverse and underrepresented creators from all backgrounds.
