Welcome to Spencerhill Associates Literary Agency
Karen Solem founded Spencerhill in 2001 to represent authors of commercial, general-interest fiction. Specializing in commercial fiction, romance and women's fiction, and expanding into middle grade and young adult, we work with talented writers in every genre at any stage of their career-from the well-known, successfully published and established author to the debut writer with an exciting new voice.
Based in Florida, our agents travel to industry conferences nationally and internationally. Our goal is to maximize the careers of our authors by placing them with the right editors and publishers so their readerships can expand.
Spencerhill works closely with Books Crossing Borders in New York City on foreign rights to help authors connect with the worldwide market, and has also negotiated film deals for several of our clients.
